Paris, the city of love; a place full of beauty, culture and art. Parisians are known for their sophisticated dressing, understated beauty and sacred devotion to drinking coffee outside while watching people stroll by. Along with their cups of coffee and croissants, many will be found smoking. Some argue that’s how you immerse yourself in the capital. With that being said, in the heart of a smoking location, finding a shop to buy Cuban Cigars or a lounge to smoke them in, is as easy as lighting a cigar.

Breakfast

Laduree – A trip to Paris is not complete without visiting Lauduree, a famous patisserie situated on Champs Elysees iconic avenue. Though the place is now located worldwide, you simply cannot compare an original. Their delectable breakfast menu includes everything from egg benedict, a selection of fine cheeses with bread, their signature omelette, as well as French toast and cakes. Ensure you leave with a box of their finest macaroons.

Lunch 

Champs Elysees may be known as a luxury shopping destination, however the area is also where you find the Arc de Triomphe and the Invalides – take a look inside the war museum and see the most incredible views outside the building.

Bugsy’s Bar & Restaurant – If you fancy some great grub made to fine standards, perhaps a chicken club sandwich, sausage and mash or even fish and chips, Bugsy’s is your go-to. Many suggest their burgers are the tastiest you’ll find in Paris. The restaurant also serves vegetarian options and a range of salads at good value for money. Located within close proximity to Champs Elysees, you can enjoy food with beer, wine, cocktails, coffee and a choice of alcoholic spirits.

Le 39V – An upscale rooftop restaurant which has a menu of vegetable plates and meat combinations, such as Roasted rabbit’s saddle, Blue lobster from the Channel Islands and Pigeon from Loiret. Expect the price to match the upscale address, which is positioned in the heart of the famous Golden Triangle by Champs Elysees.

Le Boudoir –  A restaurant in close-proximity to Champs Elysees. Featuring a wine bar with a snack and gourmet meal menu, this establishment has a charming ambiance spanning across three different rooms for you to enjoy your food.

After lunch

La Maison Champs Elysees – This beautiful hotel has an intimate and sophisticated cigar bar, where you can relax in a leather arm chair and smoke premium Cuban Cigars. Le Bar at Park Hyatt Paris Venodome – Depending on where you plan to spend the rest of your day in Paris, you can travel around 10 minutes by car from the area of Champs Elysees, to this incredible hotel. In a prime location nearby popular attractions, everything from the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre-Dame, Parc des Princes and Bois de Boulougne – Paris’s largest public park. The bar at the hotel contains prestigious rare spirits and liquors, as well as wines, champagnes and classic cocktails. There’s a tapas menu, extensive choice of rare teas, and not forgetting of course, cigars made from 95% Cuban leaf.

Happy hour

Le Cubana Café – Traveling slightly further out – a good 20-minute drive, this Cuban bar is exactly where to experience happy hour – specifically from 4pm – 8pm. Not only can you drink the best Cuban cocktails, you can taste exotic and traditional drinks, followed by a cigar in their smoking room, which is decorated as though you are secretly in Havana itself.

Dinner 

Esttia: A three-minute walk from The Cubana Café, Esttia is a highly-rated French restaurant, offering a tantalising menu – pan-fried prawns, veal, pistachio and homemade puree, as well as dishes like guinea fowl with organic white asparagus and sage.

Toyo – Also a three-minute walk from The Cubana Café, Toyo is a Japanese restaurant that's continually listed on best restaurants in Paris guides. Opened by the formal personal chef to fashion designer Kenzo, this fine dining establishment serves dinner as a tasting menu of just under 10 courses, for €99.

After Dinner Smoke

Le Speakeasy – After dinner, head conveniently close to this piano-club restaurant. While a third option for a meal, we particularly suggest you visit for the live music and cigar lounge – they describe their lounge as the most beautiful in Paris. Considered ‘English-style’, the lighting and music are both soft, and the atmosphere peaceful. There is a cocktail bar plus plenty of champagne and drinks to supplement your smoke.
