The Por Larrañaga Galanes Cigar is the most recent addition to the Por Larrañaga Cigars range. The brand is one of the oldest Cuban cigar brands, dating back to 1834. It once boasted a vast number of formats and packaging types. After the Cuban revolution, however, Por Larrañaga saw a steady decrease in production and variety until the recent addition of the Galanes, with a few more vitolas announced for 2023.

The factory name given to the Galanes is Robusto, although it features 52 ring gauge, slightly more generous than the classic 50 gauge robusto. The length of the Galanes is 120mm, providing an approximate smoking time of 45-60min at a leisurely pace.

    Just perfect

    My cigars arrived in perfect condition. I am saving them for my birthday in July when I will try one and come back with my notes.

    Best new Cuban Cigar introduced to the marketplace. Creamy ,with cocoa flavors and perfect construction. This is what Por Larranaga needed to complete their various sizes, a beautiful Robusto with great taste.

    Bought 6 singles

    First time buying from EGMcigars. Was a great experience! Full box was out of stock so I grabbed 6 singles to give them a go. Trying other brands Since my favorite brand Cohiba is now in the thousands.. I let them chill in my humidor for 10 days b4 trying one. Not sure what year but I’m guessing towards late 2021 or early 22. I grabbed one for golf was pretty impressed with this Robusto GALANES CIGAR! Super Mild smoke with good flavors. Was getting mocha coffee, gram cracker, and hints of peanuts in different parts of the gar. It was just a bit of a tight draw, Definitely can see this being a 95+ with 3-5 years aging.
