great
great cigars, need aging as they are from 2024 but otherwise great
Great cigar
These cigars have really improved with a little age, becoming more complex and balanced. Opening on the mild side for a Havana, the first third was predominantly lovely soft woody flavours with a slight pepper through the nose and a little cream building up, rather like a good El Rey del Mundo. Into the second third the flavours really opened up displaying some of that Por Larrañaga caramel sweetness, toasted almond and hints of citrus fruit, becoming more creamy and certainly a solid medium body. The final third still retained all those flavours but had a little more gentle exotic spice and strength, though started becoming hot by the last inch, which should soften out with a bit more age and there still seems to be a fair bit of room for the subtleties to come out more in a few years. The appearance and construction were excellent with a razor straight burn, wonderful easy draw with just a gentle resistance and a solid ash that held on for an inch or so at a time.
Mixed
Unfortunately the cigars I ordered were out if stock after I paid for them . The replacement mixture was not what I was looking for,not worth the money I paid.
Keep coming back to them
They're just great! You can stand them up next to most robustos. Complex and memorable and quickly becoming my go to over more expensive brands.
