London is one of the most visited cities in the world, coming in short after Bangkok and Hong Kong. It is multicultural and multifaceted which means its very good at accommodating for different interests, hobbies and tastes. One particular interest which the city has adjusted to since the smoking ban in 2007, is smoking Cuban cigars and it has done this magnificently by ensuring cigar smokers are still able to enjoy the luxury of smoking the best Cuban cigars in the most decadent of places. We’ve collated a small but magnificent list of the best places to smoke cigars in London. So grab your cigar and remember when using escalators in London, always stand on the right.
MARK'S CLUB, MAYFAIR
First up we have Mark’s Club in Mayfair. It’s here in this club where we interviewed Darius Namdar for our Cuban cigar blog and its one that certainly made an impression. This private member’s club is located in a beautiful townhouse in one of the most coveted parts of London. Despite undergoing a huge facelift last year, it is still very much quintessentially British, but more fun than formal, and still glamorous and glitzy. Paris based Designer Tino Zervudachi’s most ingenious idea though though was to extend the already handsome smoking terrace. As well as this the Director of this club, Darius Namdar, is Habanosommelier of the year, which means he is the world’s expert in Cuban cigars. Which means you can expect a humidor to be stocked with the finest Cuban cigars and enjoy them in the finest company. And we can certainly vouch for that!

THE CORINTHIA HOTEL
The Corinthia Hotel has one of our favourite cigar terraces in London. Located in the inner court of the hotel, the space is elegantly decorated in shades of red, gold, cream and terracotta adorned by plenty of flowers and foliage. The sofas and armchairs are incredibly comfortable and blankets are available to use, as well as two warming fireplaces at either end of the terrace. Perfect for when the sun goes down. As for the cigar front, the bespoke humidor has an immense selection of cigars and the Hotel’s Cigar Sommelier, Adam Laica offers a fantastic and corteous service. And finally, we highly recommend their afternoon tea, which has an incredible amount of loose leaf tea options.

THE CHURCHILL BAR
This beautifully decorated terrace is located inside the famous Hyatt Regency London. Minimum spend per-person applies and tables can sometimes have a time restriction on them. In spite of all that, the service is always excellent and both drinks and food menu is very enjoyable. Smaller selection of cigars but one can always bring their own...

THE WELLESLEY HOTEL
The Wellesley is the ultimate luxurious hotel for cigar smokers. It's humidor offers one of the grandest selection of Cuban cigars we’ve seen and has a beautiful marble inlay in the shape of "La Isla Grande', Cuba's island. Here you can find some of the rarest items ever, such as Cuban Davidoff’s and the original individually numbered Cohiba Behike. The terrace itself in our opinion is not the most comfortable one but it does offer very late closing hours and exceptional cocktails.
