La Gloria Cubana Britanicas Extra Cigar (Ex. Gran Bretaña 2017)

Introducing the long-awaited La Gloria Cubana Britanicas Extra (Ex. Gran Bretaña 2017) – the latest Regional Edition to reach the UK, following the ever-popular release of the ERDM La Reina cigar.

Handmade in a double figurado vitola, as the name suggests, this Cuban cigar measures 137 mm by 48 ring gauge. The Britanicas Extra vitola is reminiscent of a time long gone, as it used to be very popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries. We find it incredibly elegant and refined, engaging with the smoker from start to finish.

Only 6,000 units of these beautifully crafted slide lid boxes of 10 cigars were made, exclusively for the UK market. They carry the EMS (English Market Selection) label, applied by Hunters & Frankau upon the successful passing of a strict inspection protocol at its final destination.

These stunning cigars also sport a very special band, found in the archives by H&F Chairwoman Jemma Freeman, which comes with a four colour print and embossed gold foil. Simply gorgeous.

These special vitolas such as the Britanicas Extra are only handled by the most talented torcedores as they require a particular set of skills which is anything but common.
